Although Ian is a good looking guy, he is way to much of a plastic pretty boy who looks almost identical to Rob Lowe when he was younger. On the other hand, Alex is something special, he has no equal, and his acting talent is far superior. Yes he has flaws, but that is what makes him so interesting and real.
