    In this match up i would definitely pick Tom Welling, however, technically since Tom never actually put on the suite, he has only played Clark Kent not Superman. The best Superman can only be Christopher Reeve…period…end of story. He was the best SO FAR…

    Tom Welling is a great actor and will be a great superman. We just need to see him in the suit!!! Tom Welling all the way,I hope those rumors on a movie are tru and we can see Tom as well as Erica Durance as Clark Kent and Lois Lane!!!!

    The choice was easy: the heart-stoppingly goodlooking Tom Welling, because his Lois Lane, Erica Durance, is so awesome as the iconic love of his life, and they always sizzle on the screen. The drop dead gorgeous Brandon Routh was paired with Kate Boswell, whose Lois Lane was plain awful, and they had zero chemistry together. If ED had been BR’s Lois, I might have been tempted to choose him, since his body always seems to be buff, whereas TW can be a bit of a chubster at times. Too many maple donuts with Lois, maybe!!! Shallow, shallow me!

    That not even close to a Superman figure on the left must have been the only voting. Superman Returns flopped for a reason, and it was the misrepresentation of the shield. When Welling puts on the suit, he will change that shouldn’t have ever been cast as-Superman’s mind as well …

    Tommy, you don’t know, Batgirl, no. After Superman returns, it was a dissapointment, sadly. while Welling, on the other hand has gained the most potential and experience and unlike Routh( no offence to the actor), he makes the character more believable and he does deserve to be given a chance for the new movie at least and I’m not saying that as a Smallville fanboy but as a Superman fan.
    But in short terms, Welling’s got my vote:)
